DAY BY DAY TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1

After arriving in Denver and checking into your hotel, your guide and driver will have a welcome meeting in the hotel so you can meet your fellow travellers.

It's time to explore Denver! Known as the Mile High City, Denver sits at the base of the Rocky Mountains. Its mile-high altitude, vibrant arts scene, craft beer culture, and iconic Red Rocks Amphitheater make it a captivating destination. Today after a short driving tour, you will have freetime to visit historic landmarks and savor those breathtaking mountain views. This evening we will go out as a group and enjoy local cuisine and entertainment.

This morning, we will wave goodbye to Denver and travel the short distance to Boulder Colorado. Boulder, nestled against the Flatirons of the Rocky Mountains, offers a delightful blend of cultural experiences, and culinary delights. We'll take a stroll along the historic Pearl Street Mall, and discover Boulder's unique mountain charm before heading for our next stop - the fantastic Cheyenne, Wyoming. Around the world, the very name Cheyenne conjures up images of cowboys, trains, and the great outdoors. Today's Cheyenne is all of that and more! Enjoy the Wild-West history in the unique downtown on our first night here!

It's time for Frontier Days! It may have started as a cowboy round-up, featuring bronco busting contests and pony races, but today this Western Celebration is the world's largest outdoor rodeo. For the next two days we are going to enjoy all the rodeo fun on offer. This evening, you may want to take in a big name show or perhaps enjoy local entertainment in town.

It's another day of rodeo action and behind-the-chutes tours, trick riding and a wild-horse race. Visit the Native American Village, an old frontier town, a saloon, dancing, a chuck wagon cook-off, pancake breakfasts and an art show that carry through the frontier theme. A carnival midway, an air show, top-name entertainment, professional bull riding shows and several parades including antique carriages and automobiles are also on offer at Frontier Days.

After breakfast we will say goodbye to Cheyenne and head for the Wild West Town of Cody! Here we will visit the Buffalo Bill Center of the West which is home to five museums documenting the saga of the Wild West: the Draper Natural History Museum, Cody Firearms Museum, Whitney Western Art Museum, Buffalo Bill Museum and Plains Indian Museum, which hosts a traditional powwow every June. This evening we'll enjoy music and dining in the downtown area.

Today in the self-proclaimed “Rodeo Capital of the World” we'll learn about all-things pioneer, in this spirited community that preserves its history and celebrates its position as a gateway to Yellowstone. Steer yourself to downtown’s Irma Hotel, built by Buffalo Bill himself. Catch The Wild Bunch reenacting a shootout in front of the hotel in summer, which is Cody’s most vibrant season. Take a Cody Trolley Tour to see the Buffalo Bill Reservoir, pioneer homes and the historic district. Stroll through Old Trail Town, which features 25 restored historic buildings just off the Yellowstone Highway. Then this evening, we'll visit the Cody Nite Rodeo which is a unique and thrilling event that offers visitors a taste of the authentic cowboy experience. Enjoy both seasoned professionals and amateur riders competing in various events, including bull riding, barrel racing, and team roping. We'll witness the bravery and athleticism of the riders as they take on the challenges of riding bucking broncos and fierce bulls, in this truly unforgettable experience that captures the essence of the American cowboy!

After breakfast today, we make our way to Billings, Montana via the Yellowstone National Park. You'll have plenty time to explore this small but busy town with a rich history this evening as we'll go out as a group to the vibrant downtown area of Billings.

The discovery of gold in the southern Black Hills in 1874 set off one of the great gold rushes in America. In 1876, miners moved into the northern Black Hills. That’s where they came across a gulch full of dead trees and a creek full of gold and Deadwood was born. Practically overnight, the tiny gold camp boomed into a town that played by its own rules that attracted outlaws, gamblers and gunslingers along with the gold seekers. Wild Bill Hickok and Calamity Jane made names for themselves here. It's now your time to find out about these colorful characters whilst walking the streets of present-day Deadwood!

Today we will travel the short distance to the Mount Rushmore National Memorial. Where you will see American History, Alive in Stone...Majestic figures of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln, surrounded by the beauty of the Black Hills of South Dakota, tell the story of the birth, growth, development and preservation of this country. Then, we will make our way past the Crazy Horse Memorial, a monumental work in progress carved into Thunderhead Mountain. Then, it is back to Deadwood for more Wild West fun!

Sioux Falls has become one of the must-see cities in the Midwest, and for good reason. It offers a delightful mix of natural beauty and cultural experiences, and we will experience the best of this beautiful place during our stay here. After checking into our hotel, we'll go for a driving tour and see the famous Sioux Falls murals and the Arc of Dreams! We'll spend the evening enjoying a meal and local entertainment.

Omaha earned its nickname as the “Gateway to the West” due to its strategic location along the Missouri River and served as a vital crossing point for pioneers heading westward. Today after exploring it's historic roots, we will travel to Benson, a nightlife district is known for frosty beer, good music and dishes loaded with local flavor. We will make new friends with friendly, furry locals such as Shooter, the Benson bar cat. Shooter can be seen sauntering in and out of the neighborhood bars greeting patrons and nuzzling bartenders. Benson’s other party animal is Sam, the beloved party dog of Burke’s Pub. This friendly Great Dane entertains patrons and adds to the bar’s care-free vibe.
On the final leg of our tour, we will visit Kansas City which straddles the Missouri–Kansas state line. It’s known for its vibrant arts scene, fountains, and a lively music scene. We will visit some of the best known attractions on both the Kansas and Missouri sides of this wonderful city.

Today we will visit Country Club Plaza and The Hallmark Visitors Center. Then after a few hours to rest and relax at our hotel, we will go out as a group and enjoy a gala dinner.

It's sad but true - your tour has come to an end, and our team will make sure you get to the airport for your journey home!
