Tunes of Glory – An Escorted Tour full of Southern Charm!
Our brand new Tunes of Glory Escorted Tour visits Tennessee, Georgia and the Carolinas. Enjoy the fantastic sounds, rich history and culture of this amazing part of the American South. Remarkable local musicians such as Soul Legend Otis Redding, Country Superstar Alan Jackson and Rock and Roll Giant Little Richard will help to create a soundtrack for this unforgettable holiday experience. The tour takes you from Atlanta and through the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee into North and South Carolina before finally visiting some of the most vibrant cities in Georgia. Nestled between the Appalachian Mountains and the Atlantic Ocean these South Eastern States have a rich civil war history and amazing music as well as southern charm and hospitality!

Day 14
The Tunes of Glory Escorted Tour begins in Atlanta. After checking in to our hotel, feel free to join us in the bar for welcome drinks and to meet your fellow travellers.
This morning we will start our adventure by visiting the Atlanta History Center, before exploring Downtown Atlanta at your own pace. Tonight we will go out as a group to enjoy the local food and nightlife.
After breakfast we will travel to Chattanooga Tennessee. We'll stop for lunch and a visit to the famous Chattanooga Choo Choo. Then it is on to Look Out Mountain and Rock City before continuing our journey to Sevierville (Pigeon Forge) Tennessee. Following some free time to settle in, perhaps you'll want to take a shuttle ride along the Parkway or visit the town square in Sevierville - to see the statue of Dolly Parton outside the courthouse.
You have a choice of trips today. For those of you wishing to visit Dollywood our bus will drop you off at the park en route to Gatlinburg. For those of you on the Gatlinburg trip you will have the day free to explore this quaint mountain town. Perhaps take the cable car to Ober Gatlinburg and see the black bears and other native creatures. This evening we'll enjoy a show at the Country Tonite Theatre.
After breakfast we will make our way to Asheville, North Carolina - home of the famous Biltmore Estate. You will have free time to explore and see the sights of this lovely town before checking into our hotel. This evening we will enjoy dinner and live music at the Old Time Jam!
Today, we will make the short journey to Charlotte, North Carolina - where you will have free time to explore this vibrant city. This evening we will enjoy the local nightlife
Today, you are free to discover the charms of Charlotte, North Carolina at your own pace. Perhaps take a horse and carriage ride around this historic city.
Heading into South Carolina, we’ll stop for lunch and a visit to a local moonshine distillery in Columbia. Then, after checking into our hotel, relax a while before exploring beautiful downtown Charleston.
Today we will visit Fort Sumter, where the first shots of the American Civil War were fired, and the National Monument and Museum. Enjoy a ferry trip to Patriots Point and explore the USS Yorktown, one of the US Navy’s most famous aircraft carriers. Spend this evening enjoying downtown Charleston.
After breakfast we will wave goodbye to Charleston and start our journey to wonderful Savannah Georgia! On our way we will spend some time enjoying beautiful Tybee Island. Learn its history and visit the Pier, Pavilion and Lighthouse. Then it’s a short 30 minute journey to our hotel in Savannah where you’re free to enjoy River Street and beyond!
Today, on a leisurely journey through Georgia, we’ll pass through Augusta and take a look at the "Masters" Championship Golf Course. Then it is on to Athens, where we will visit a vinyl record pressing plant - one of just 20 in the whole of the USA! Our final stop is Macon, Georgia to visit the home of Capricorn Music and The Allman Brothers’ Big House.
Today you are free to explore Macon at your own pace.
This morning it is time to visit Stone Mountain Park, Georgia's Most visited attraction. Then it's on to our hotel in Atlanta to Relax before your last night in the entertainment district.
